Hi! I’m Tim – Tim Tyson. My blog, iDigress.XYZ, was originally started in 2004 under a different name and URL. I continued that blog for 19 years! But I closed that site in 2023 because I just could no longer stand dealing with the business practices of GoDaddy. Enough was enough.1
So, I started this blog with its new domain name, iDigress.XYZ. At this point, I had never seen a .xyz domain name out in the wild; though, they do seem to actually exist! And now, with my new domain name, I no longer have to deal with that awful company, because I purchased this domain name from a different place. Yay!
Over time I will port over content from my original blog – content I particularly liked and/or that has better stood the test of time. But, I digress about x, y, and z.
So: Welcome!
It’s pretty bad when you’re willing to sacrifice a domain name you’ve used for 19 years just to get rid of an abusive business relationship! ↩
